Description
Referrals must come through 911 or 242-COPS; if there are any questions or concerns. MCT responds to 911 calls with a behavioral health component to assist with de-escalation and crisis intervention and will conduct a mental health assessment in the field. MCT is composed of an independently licensed therapist and an officer (either APD or BCSO) trained in enhanced crisis intervention. Referrals to MCT must be made through 911 or 242-COPS. Teams are responding to calls between the hours of 10am and 11pm 7 days a week.
